Bedroom Makeover Part One

I have a sudden urge to decorate my bedroom. We moved house earlier this year and although it was hard to leave my old house which I’d spent years making perfect, it was nice to move somewhere bigger and have a blank canvas to work on. After 10 months here I’ve had enough of the blank canvas and I’m more than ready to finish the place and add my own personal touch.

The first place to start would have to be my bedroom, it’s the only room in the house where I’ve done absolutely nothing. The walls are cream the carpet is cream and the curtains are unfinished. I had lot’s of ideas for this room at first I was thinking pale grey and dusky pink, then I was thinking of having toille de jouy wallpaper, but ow I’ve decided to succumb completely to my rose obsession and I’m going to paint the room pale blue and pink and have rose print accessories everywhere. It’s going to be very girly!

After carpeting and painting the room we’ve not really done anything so now is definitely the time for a bedroom makeover! Never one to have an idea and not act on it I went to buy paint last night and my husband is already painting before work so watch this space…
