I’ve noticed a lot of bloggers raving about the make-up ranges in Poundland at the moment, especially US make-up brand Chit Chat, Rimmel, Revlon and some lucky people have even managed to pick up the odd Stila foundation for a pound!
Desperate to get a couple of bargains I managed to make it to the shops today and managed to get a few bits in both Poundland and Primark. I was really impressed with the choices in both and I’m looking forward to giving the products a try. If I don’t like them at least I’ve not spent a fortune on them after all. I had already tried Primark’s liquid eye-liner and actually found it better than the one I usually spend £15 on, so I felt a bit more confident getting a couple more items from the range.

After all our hard work shopping me and my friend decided we needed refreshments so we popped into Patisserie Vallerie for coffee and cake. It all looked amazing but the cake was actually not nearly as nice as it looked and the coffee was undrinkable so we were a little disappointed. Plus it cost more than all our beauty bargains put together. Lesson learnt.
I am planning to review all the products in the future so I’ll let you know how I get on. Has anyone else tried any of these products or got any beauty bargains recently?
