Having a Vintage Clearout

December 19, 2012

It’s freezing cold here in London and my youngest daughter has not been sleeping well this week. It’s all a bit of a shock to the system as I’m used to both girls sleeping through.

Today I am taking it easy and snuggling up on the sofa under the duvet.

This week I’ve started having a little sort through some of my vintage collection. After having my second baby my size has changed and I’m going to be selling a lot of my clothing, plus some of my old stock from vintage fairs. I also have heaps of vintage home wares that I don’t have room for anymore so these are all going too.

Over the next week I will be stocking my Etsy shop with some beautiful vintage treasures. I’ve left a link at the top of my sidebar so it’s worth checking back every few days to see what I’ve added.

The only thing I’ve listed so far is this late 1950s Royal Standard ‘Red Velvet’ tea set, which is such a beautiful set and has all 6 trios with no chips, as well as a sugar bowl, milk jug and serving platter.

This week I will try to add some more vintage tea sets and a selection of early 60’s dresses that I am currently cleaning and restoring so I’ll keep you posted.
