My Latest Sewing and Knitting Buys

February 4, 2013

This week I’ve been making lot’s of crafty plans, firstly I’m making my own vintage style dress from a reproduction pattern, I’m also learning t crochet. I’ve been knitting since I was a little girl, but I’ve never got the hang of crochet despite people always telling me how easy it is. I’d really like to be able to do it as I’m always seeing things I’d like to make.

I’ve done a little shopping this week for some supplies, here’s a few of the bits I picked up…

I bought this set of knitting looms on Ebay to make the girls some woolly hats and leg warmers.

As I’ve never made a dress before I got this book from Amazon to help me, it’s really good!

My pattern arrived! I cannot wait to make this, I’m planning to make a few in different fabrics.

This is  the fabric for the dress which I bought on Ebay.

Have you been making anything nice or bought any sewing stuff, I’d love to hear about other people’s projects!

They’re great. I made Lila a hat yesterday and it hardly took any time at all. It’s almost like a giant knitting dolly!

Great purchases – I really like the cute little floral print fabric you bought, there’s a certain Liberty Print quality to it, don’t you think?
