Last Saturday I was invited to attend the Pretty Nostalgic Gathering at Kings Weston House in Bristol. The event was organised by Pretty Nostalgic magazine and featured talks, stalls, a room dedicated to wedding suppliers, a fashion psychic and a bloggers networking event as well as a vintage fashion show. For me Bristol is a bit of a trek but as a big fan of the magazine I just had to attend. The day was absolutely fantastic and right up my street. Everything from yummy cake with tea in a vintage cup to Jane Austen dancing the day just flew by. A particular highlight for me was the blogging question and answer session with Annabel Beeforth of Love My Dress, a hugely succesful wedding blog which I read myself all the time. She explained how she had come to start writing her blog as well as how she gained so much success and how she manages to run the blog day to day.
