My Week in Pictures 7

April 20, 2014

Another busy week has passed and it’s time to share my week in pictures with you again. As you can see there’s been a lot of baking and time with the kids this week!

On Monday we started the day with home-made smoothies containing orange, banana and peach which were delicious. We also popped to Asda to stock up on Lila’s bath products which you can see her proudly carrying around the shops. We also made a big batch of muffins in 3 flavours raspberry, chocolate chip and peanut butter. These got eaten pretty quickly by us and family stopping by.

On Tuesday Lila and I had trip to Ikea with my mum. It was meant to be a quick visit but Lila decided to try out every chair and display room in the shop and we ended up being there for hours! I picked up a few cushion pads as I’m going to make some new cushions for the living room this week.

I wore one of my favourite dresses, a 40s style wrap dress by Love ur Look, excuse the rubbish selfie!

Wednesday was spent in the garden with the kids and my mum and dad. We replaced the sand in the sandpit and lot’s of sand castles were made. I opened a Fortnum and Mason cake which had been a gift at christmas which was delicious with a pot of tea. We also planted lot’s of vegetable seeds as we’d really like a little vegetable patch this summer.

We also filled up the paddling pool and had a good splash, but I didn’t get any pictures.

Thursday was spent making our easter nest cakes which I shared the recipe for earlier this week. The rest of the day was just a relaxed play day. Lila and I also made another batch of muffins, this time we made blueberry and mini egg flavoured ones.

On Friday the girls friend came over and we decorated easter cookies. We also popped to the playground for a quick run around followed by a trip to Harvester.

It was definitely a special week for me being a mummy and having lot’s of lovely time with the girls. I didn’t take any pictures today as we just had a lovely lazy day watching Disney films and relaxing.

Tomorrow is Lila’s third birthday and I am so excited to celebrate it with her, I can’t believe my little baby has grown up so much! Jessica is back at school on Tuesday and I have lot’s of great things planned for the next few weeks as well as some exciting blog plans at the beginning of May so watch this space!
