My New Favourite Skirt

I’ve been after this gorgeous Primark gingham skirt for absolutely ages. I’ve seen lot’s of other blogger style it to perfection and I knew it just had to be mine. I finally got my hands on it the other day when I spotted just one hiding behind a few other skirts in my local store and thankfully it was my size.

The skirt is made with a generous amount of soft flowing fabric and has a really pretty vibrant print. It could be styled in many ways to make it work with a vintage look but today I just chucked it on with a plain white t-shirt. It was one of those casual mummy days of running errands, playing and relaxing so this outfit was perfect.

I wore it with a comfy pair of flats and my only accessory was my leaf bracelet. The skirt is so pretty that even worn really simply I think it looks absolutely lovely.

Outfit Details:

White T-shirt – £3 – Primark

Pink Gingham Skirt – £12 – Primark

Leaf Bracelet – Primark (old)

Flat Shoes – £4 – Primark

(I’m dressed all in Primark don’t tell the vintage police)

Absolutely, they have some really pretty things at the moment too. I’m loving all the skirts and blouses which are perfect for styling in a vintage way. xxx

It looks lovely on you! I have to say that I was desperate to track down this skirt for ages, and then I found it, tried it on, and was really disappointed with the fabric and cut. It wasn’t flattering at all on me, and when I compared it with photos of the model, it did seem to have some slight difference in cut. Glad that you’ve made it work for you, but it was so not my skirt! I can’t complain though, I’ve acquired a few new ones from Tesco instead…! P x

I really liked how light the fabric was on this, but it’s definitely a day time casual skirt for me rather than a dressy up one.
I love so much stuff in Tesco at the moment, lot’s of things that can be styled in a retro way. xxx
