A Pretty Pink Dress

June 12, 2014

Nothing makes me happier than sunny summer days, and I’ve really made the most of all the beautiful weather we’ve been having this week. I’ve also had a big wardrobe sort out and rediscovered a few dresses from last summer which I can’t wait to wear. One of those dresses was this beautiful pink floral dress which I bought from Lindy Bop right at the end of last summer and only got one wear out of.

As a big lover of vintage clothing getting a real 1950s dress can be a bit of a strain on the purse strings so I love to fill the gaps in my wardrobe with lovely reproduction dresses and Lindy Bop is by far the most affordable option. I love their dresses for wearing on normal days when I’m playing with my kids, running round the park or even doing the housework as I know I won’t risk ruining a more valuable dress. So they are perfect for a vintage loving busy mum.

This particular dress is so pretty and girlie and I love the rose print. It comes with a matching belt, although I wore it with a brown belt this time for a change. It also has a full circle skirt and looks lovely with a full petticoat too.

The dress is lovely quality for the price and washes like a dream so it’s really practical and I’m sure it will be getting a lot of wear this summer. I’m hoping to pick up a few more dresses from Lindy Bop this year as some of their new dresses are absolutely stunning.
