Coast SS15 Preview

November 21, 2014

Coast 1

This week I popped to the Coast Spring/Summer 2015 preview in London. Coast is one of my favourite high street brands, they represent a lot of the things I love about fashion; beautiful fabric and embellishments, classic feminine designs and inspiration from the past.

This collection had all these things and I spotted so many designs I absolutely loved. Coast describe the collection as “relaxed, contemporary and optimistic”. My first impressions of the collection were how fresh and feminine it was, as well as what a beautiful selection of colours and textures were on offer. The collection is also described as “romantic’ and this really shows in the beautiful floral, lace and use of beautiful sequins and beading to adorn the gorgeous garments.

For vintage lovers I picked out lot’s of beautiful 30s style draping as well as full 50’s style skirts and 60s style cuts to the dresses. The accessories, especially the clutch bags would also fit in beautifully with a vintage inspired wardrobe.

If florals and pastel shades aren’t for you, there are also lots of block colours and black and white monochrome prints inspired by the 60s, I was absolutely loving the black and white stripes and bold flashes of pink throughout.

I took so many pictures while I was there, as I literally loved everything and if I could I would share even more pictures on here, however after careful selection here are a few of my highlights…

I wouldn’t usually say that I’m the biggest fan of ladies bomber jackets, but goodness if that lace version hasn’t stolen my heart. It’s equal parts vintage and modern feeling and just sooo pretty!
