Late last year I popped to the Matalan SS15 press event. Here they showcased not only their fantastic clothing ranges but also their Home collection. I’ve always loved Matalan’s home offerings and have quite a few things from them in my own home. They always have loads of pretty shabby chic home accessories which go really well with my decor.
This years Spring Summer collection focusses on a fresh and classic feel, with touches of antique pinks, beachy blues, meadow greens and neutral shades. There are plenty of botanical floral influences to bring the great outdoors inside, and seaside tableware for entertaining friends on long summer nights.
I loved all the soft furnishing especially the cushions which would look lovely mis-matched on a bed or sofa. I also always like their pretty plaques and wall art featuring inspiring quotes and sayings. Matalan is perfect for little finishing touches and pretty accessories to complete a look and this season definitely doesn’t disappoint. Here are a few of my high lights from the collection…
I’m really looking forward to seeing some of my favourite pieces from the collection instore and already have a few things that I’m planning to pick up, so watch this space to see what I get.
