Last week was a real treat for me. To celebrate the launch of Disney’s Into The Woods being released on DVD on 18th May, I was invited to Sketch for a fairytale themed afternoon tea. Sketch is an absolutely amazing venue on Conduit Street in Mayfair, as well as offering amazing food and cakes it is also so much fun to have a look round the amazing decorations and themed rooms. I have wanted to go there for ages, I even worked on the same road for a couple of years but never got round to eating there! The event was held in The Glade, a beautiful woodland themed room with beautiful trees painted on the walls and wicker furniture, which really makes you feel like your having afternoon tea in an enchanted forest. The Disney Into the Woods theme was fully embraced with cakes and pastries inspired by fairy tales. I loved the Red Riding Hood Choux and Jack’s Beanstalk Tart best.
