Basic Invite – Where to Create Fully Customisable Party Invitations

October 11, 2017

Over the last few years, I’ve had so many parties and events that I’ve needed to invite people to. From my wedding, to the girls christenings to lots of birthday parties. I’ve always tried to use interesting invitations, some I’ve bought and some I’ve designed myself. I recently discovered a company who take the stress out of creating beautiful party invitations. Basic Invite have a huge selection of fully customisable party invitations on their fantastic easy to use website. I had a go at creating some invitations for imaginary parties I wish I was actually having in the future.

Basic Invite Customisable Party InvitationsBasic Invite are all about choice, not only can you choose from a huge selection of designs, but there are also lots of different coloured envelopes and customisable inserts. You can also order custom samples of your designs, which makes it a lot easier to make a final decision. I ordered all of my designs as individual samples and they arrived in record time and were absolutely wonderful quality.

Its worth noting that although the company is based in the US, they came quicker than a lot of UK companies would be able to do it.

Customisable Party Invitations:

The process of designing your invites is surprisingly simple. First you can select the type of event you are having. Then you are shown a large choice of different designs. Once you have chosen, you can edit the text. From there you can change the colour of every element and edit the fonts, to create something uniquely yours.

The best bit, is the absolutely huge choice of colours. This means you can work to your own colour scheme quite closely. There are in fact 180 different colour options, making the designs almost endless. The picture above show the design from the website and the one that I redesigned in my own colours. As well as being perfect for personal events and parties, this would also be a great way for brands to create an invitation or card that fits with their aesthetic. There are over 40 different envelope colours. So your invitation can make an impact before the recipient has even opened it.

Christmas is Just Around the Corner:

With Christmas fast approaching, now is the perfect time to get planning your parties and of course order your Christmas party invitations. I designed one that I think really reflects my tastes and has a festive feel without being too Christmassy. But there is just so much choice, that you could match your invite to your own Christmas decor or theme. They also have a great selection of holiday cards, so even if you’re not having a party, you can still customise something for the season.

Something for Every Occassion:

As a mummy, I’ve organised my fair share of parties for the girls. Basic Invite have a great offering of kids party invitations with lots of different themes. There is lots of choice for girls, boys and unisex ones and of course they can all be changed up to suit your child and their tastes. There are all kinds of different themes from baking parties to science and skating parties, which makes a tricky job that little bit more simple.

Of course if I was organising a birthday party for myself I would choose an afternoon tea. I has a look at all the customisable party invitations and thought this one was absolutely perfect. It started life as a Spring Soiree invitation and I reworked it to make it perfect for me.

So whatever you have coming up and whether you need holiday party invitations or a formal party invitation, check out Basic Invite and see if you can create the perfect invite for you.
