There have been lots of exciting changes afoot at John Lewis recently. Not only have they changed their name to John Lewis and Partners to reflect the partnership they have with their staff, they have also launched some very exciting new in house ranges. I popped to a blogger event at the Kingston store to take a look at some their new pieces, perfect for building a capsule wardrobe.
The clothing range is all about beautiful classic pieces, that work beautifully together. The range is simple but timeless and says no to fast fashion culture and focuses more on creating a wearable capsule wardrobe. There are lots of beautiful block colours in the range, but because I love yellow so much I took a lot of pictures of the yellow tones in the range! And to be honest if I was building my own c apple wardrobe, these are the colours I would be going for.
There are lots of layerable items going into Autumn, with lovely tops, gorgeous knitwear and classic jackets and coats. The quality is really beautiful and there is plenty of pure cotton, cashmere and wool to keep you warm, comfortable and cosy as the weather gets colder.
There are also gorgeous accessories to compliment the clothes, including gorgeous bags in all shapes and sizes, leather gloves and lovely soft scarves to wrap up and get all snuggly in.
The mix and match possibilities are endless, but here are a few bits that I think would make a perfect capsule wardrobe for Autumn.

This post is great lovely and even for someone who isn’t that into yellow you have put together a nice selection that is really nice to look at with each piece complimenting each other as well as the possibility of mixing with other bits x
