Boots That Make My Feet Feel Happy!

November 6, 2018

Boots That Make My Feet Feel Happy! Comfortable boots from HotterIn the summer I shared some of my favourite sandals from Hotter shoes. Now it’s time to share some of the footwear I’m loving for the colder months. First up I’m focussing on boots. I practically live in comfy boots in Autumn and Winter and need something that looks nice with all my dresses, but also will get me through long walks and still have happy feet. The comfortable boots I chose are the gorgeous brown County boots. (This post was kindly sponsored by Hotter and the boots were gifted)

Lets face it, I own enough dresses to last a life time. In my recent post about buying vintage, I mentioned how important good accessories are. I like to have a selection of long lasting versatile shoes, that won’t hurt my feet and will work from season to season. I like things that will go with lots of different outfits and that I can get the most wear out of. These boots really fit the bill.

Boots That Make My Feet Feel Happy! Comfortable boots from HotterI love the warm rich colour. I don’t wear much black, so I often choose brown or tan shoes or shoes in richer colours, which compliment the colours in my wardrobe more. I have a few pairs of black boots, so this pair really filled a gap in my wardrobe. Since they arrived I’ve already worn them with lots of different autumnal coloured outfits. They also do come in black and a lovely darker brown shade.

I chose a high street dress that I bought a couple of years ago and haven’t worn much. Pairing it with black tights and the comfortable boots worked really well and it was perfect for a not too chilly November afternoon.

They have a classic elastic side panel like most Chelsea boots. They also have a zip, making them super easy to get on and off. I found they fit true to size. I got my usual size 6. Width wise the standard fit was pretty spot on and I have quite wide feet.

Boots That Make My Feet Feel Happy! Comfortable boots from HotterI loved the Chelsea boot style and really loved the little brogue detailing across the toe. The colour and shape are absolutely lovely. I think they are classic enough to go with almost everything – casual or more dressy outfits.

As most of you know I love being outdoors, I go for walks almost every day and whenever possible I take my kids to visit lovely gardens and stately homes a lot too. I also have to walk around London a lot for my job. These boots really fit my lifestyle and compliment my addiction to pretty dresses. Totally a win win situation there!

Boots That Make My Feet Feel Happy! Comfortable boots from HotterI’ve picked a few of my other favourite comfortable boots from this season’s collection at Hotter. There’s a mixture of practical and pretty and definitely something for everyone!
