Fair Trade Fashion – A Pretty Dress for Every Summer Occasion

May 31, 2019

Today I have another lovely dress from Nomads Clothing to show you. They Kindly sent me a few dresses to try at the beginning of Spring and I’ve been wearing them all lots. I mentioned at the the beginning of the year I want to embrace for sustainable ethical and fair trade fashion. As usual I’m always on the look out for pretty, wearable dresses that I can wear every day and feel fabulous in.  Today’s dress definitely fits the bill and to top it off it’s fair trade, ethically produced and sustainably made from organic cotton. What could be better?

When I was choosing my dresses from the Nomads website, this is the one that immediately stood out. I loved the classic fit, gorgeous print and lovely vibrant colour scheme. It’s the kind of dress you could wear for the school run, a day out, a summer party or just around the house – basically very versatile! I wore it recently for a lovely afternoon walk with a Fay, who Kindly took these snaps of me. . I added one of my favourite vintage belts, which I really like with this dress and a pair of red ballet flats. There are loads of lovely colours to pick out from the print, so you can have lots of fun matching it up with different accessories. I love matching my little vintage finds up with my dresses.

I went for a size 14 in this dress, following the size guide on the Nomads website and I’m really happy with the fit. Their sizing is reasonably generous in this one, so there’s plenty of room for curves. As I’ve mentioned in previous post, their dresses do vary in fit, so always check the size guide on each dress to get the best fit for you. The dress is also available in a beautiful green shade, with hints of yellow and blue. The green is equally gorgeous and I’d definitely consider investing in it, as I’m so happy with the fit and quality of this colour way.
