Introducing The Retro Collection from Vintage Frills

I’ve been selling vintage clothing for most of my adult life and collecting it for even longer! Over the last year I’ve worked really hard on Vintage Frills Shop and sold some really beautiful things to lots of lovely customers. It certainly helped a lot in a very hard year when at times we’ve really struggled. It’s also filled lot’s of hours, when cleaning, photographing and listing really beautiful things has been really fun! I’m really looking forward to taking my little business further in 2021 and bringing you even more gorgeous vintage.

One thing I’d like to do more is bring out collections of vintage pieces, bringing together lot’s of gorgeous dresses, clothes and accessories that compliment each other all at once. And so I’d like to introduce you to The Retro Collection, which I’ll be launching on 29th December at 6pm. This collection brings you the best of the 60s and 70s. Think gorgeous colours, shift dresses, minis and maxis and the kind of fabulous sleeves that will make you want to run around waving your arms in the air!

The Retro Collection includes some fabulous brands from the 60s and 70s, including Polly Peck, Jean Allen, Carnegie, Dollyrockers and more. There’re also a couple of gorgeous vintage hand bags from Enid Collins, a fabulous basket bag and some fun hair accessories and bright pieces of jewellery. I’ve had so much fun putting this together and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I’ve included some of the best styles from the era – shift dresses, maxi dresses, bright colours, fun prints and all the gorgeous details that make these two decades so much fun. It’s been fun styling the pieces together and creating some looks from the era.
