Introducing The Romantic Collection from Vintage Frills

February 25, 2021

With Spring just around the corner and the days slowly but surely getting longer, it’s time to start looking forward to the world coming into bloom. In celebration of all things Spring it’s time to announce the new collection from Vintage Frills Shop, which will launch online on Friday 26th Feb at 6pm.

The Romantic Collection takes inspiration from all that is pretty – Spring florals, lovely lace, whimsey homeware and a look to nature. A collection to make your Cottagecore dreams come true, dresses to wear in the woods or for a picnic somewhere beautiful, lots of little embroidered details and snug knits for when theres a slight chill in the air.

I’ve been planning this collection for a long time now and gathering pretty items that work beautifully together and I am so excited to share it with you. Highlights include 10 vintage Laura Ashley dresses in a selection of sizes in the most lovely floral print cottons, beautiful accessories and jewellery and some pretty pieces for your home.

The Dresses

The collection includes over 25 gorgeous dresses, featuring beautiful prints, pretty details and lots of old fashioned charm. They’re all very much my style, so if you love the outfits I share on here and instagram then you’ll love these.

The Knits

I’ve included some beautiful classic hand knits, alongside some fabulous 1950s beaded cashmere cardigans, perfect for layering up with dresses and keeping warm on cool Spring evenings.

The Jewellery

For the jewellery I dipped into my own collection quite a lot and decided to part with a few of my embroidered brooches and wild flower brooches. I also added a few deadstock vintage hair accessories to the range, as these are always so popular in the shop and I had a couple which complimented the range perfectly.

The Accessories

The collection includes some absolutely beautiful vintage handbags, including a favourite from my own Enid Collins collection, a lovely embroidered bag with a wooden handle and various other vintage bags that would look fabulous with vintage dresses.

The Books

Because the collection was loosely inspired by the Cottagecore look, I just had to include some pretty flower books. I’ve always been a fan of the Observers series, so I managed to source some for the range. Not only do these look super cute in photos, but they are perfect for carrying in your bag or pocket for long walks enjoying the outdoors and spotting pretty blooms.

The Homewares

When it comes to homewares, I’ve added a few bits and pieces that I think are really pretty for dressing up a shelf or table setting. Think pretty rose prints and beautiful hand crocheted doilies, perfect for bringing a little English countryside into your home.

Everything with be live on my Etsy shop at 6pm on Friday 26th Feb, so if you’ve seen something you can’t live without be sure to get in early to snap it up. I hope you love the range as much as I enjoying putting it together!
