I’ve recently been thinking about creating vintage capsule wardrobes. With shopping sustainably becoming more and more essential, it’s important to be thinking about making the most of our clothes and wearing them as much as possible. When I’ve been sourcing stock for the shop, I’ve been focussing on beautiful classic pieces that can also last a life time. That includes buying versatile pieces that have lots of styling potential. I’ve always been a fan of vintage blouses, as there’s so many different ways to style and wear them. I love dressing up a pair of jeans with a pretty blouse, tucking them into my favourite skirts, or wearing them under dresses. A gorgeous vintage blouse is perfect under a blazer for a smarter look or under a sweater to show off a pretty collar. Today I wanted to share a few of the lovely blouses that are currently available from Vintage Frills Shop.
This season I’m particularly loving blush pinks, classic creams and lots of lace and embroidered details. I have a mix of eras available at the moment from classic 50s looks to gorgeous 80s essentials.

You can’t go wrong with pretty florals and my own wardrobe is basically a garden of gorgeous vintage floral prints. This vintage St Michael blouse is one of my favourite things on the shop at the moment. Her dainty little embroidered collar would look so cute under layers, or just wear her on her own with your favourite separates. This blouse is a size 12-14. NOW SOLD.

I love all the little details on this 80s blouse, with it’s pretty scalloped edging, embroidered details and tie neck. The colour is gorgeous too and this would look great tucked into a skirt or under a dress. The tie neck is also detachable. This blouse is a size 12-14. SHOP PINK BLOUSE
If you’re looking for something easy to wear and versatile, then this 1970s St Michael tunic top is a great option. She can be worn with or without the tie belt and I absolutely love the cute cut out lace details. This one is a size 14. SHOP 70S TUNIC TOP

I absolutely love vintage St Michael clothing and the shop is full of lovely St Michael pieces dating from the 50s-90s. Another one of my shop favourites at the moment, is this simply stunning embroidered blouse. She has so much detail and the colours are just beautiful. the blouse has pretty puff sleeves and a scalloped edge. This blouse is a size 14. NOW SOLD.

I’ve styled the blouse with a lovely vintage Liberty print skirt and a favourite novel, because she is just perfect for stepping back in time with a classic book.
This absolutely beauty has now gone to her new home, but I had to include her alongside the other blouses! made from silk and with absolutely stunning hand embroidery, this 40s/5os blouse was one of my favourite finds of the season. NOW SOLD
To create a similar look on a budget I have this lovely 80s blouse available in the shop now. She has lovely pleated details and a sweet scalloped double collar. She was made to be worn under pretty dresses to show off that beautiful collar. This one is a size 12-14. SHOP PINK BLOUSE
I’ve styled the blouse here under a pretty floral dress, with a lovely floral pendant (now sold).
This sweet St Michael bed jacket, could either me worn as an extra layer over a nightdress, or worn as a cute blouse or bolero. I love the pretty broderie anglaise detailing on the shoulders. This bedecked is around a size 14. SHOP WHITE BED JACKET
