So I went out car booting, picking list in hand and found some really cool bits. No luck with the enamel items, and the only vintage milk bottles I found were plain and I really wanted ones with advertising. But I did get some fab vintage bits.
Firstly I’ve been looking for some old toys for the dresser in the play room to add a vintage touch to a room filled with modern toys.
I got this tin 1950s cash register for £3.50 it’s a little beaten up but with some tlc and a lot of cleaning I think it will come up nicely…
We also got this Triang tin train for £10 again it needs work but will look great on the dresser…
I got this oil can for a bargain £2 which I’m going to put in the garden…
I got this frame for £3.50 I love it gold but it won’t go well in my house so I’m going to paint it cream I think…
And we also got got this cute wooden cigarette box for our sideboard which I’m going to keep keys in…
I got this little sign because it made me laugh that might go in the downstairs toilet, not sure yet…

September 4, 2012 at 1:12 pmWill just give it a gentle clean as it has some grease and dust, will leave it looking shabby though. We were so lucky to find it so cheap, was exactly what I was looking for!
