Today I wore one of my favourite dresses, which is one of my summer staples. My husband bought it for me from Cath Kidston a couple of years ago, I’d just had Lila so it’s a little big for me now but I still wear it on hot days like today. It’s made from beautiful cotton and has a very 1950s feel to it.
I curled my hair this morning using my John Frieda Defined Curls tongs. I was sent them last year to review, but my hair was a bit too long to get anything amazing out them. However now I have shorter hair they are perfect, so I’ll try and write another review for them soon.
I accessorised my curly style with a flower headband from Primark, I only bought this a couple of weeks ago and I think they still have them in.
I am wearing a pair of flats also from Primark, although you can’t see them very well behind the weeds (the garden is a work in progress!)
When the het got too much I spent a bit of time reading Astor Place Vintage, which I’ve been reading whenever I get a minute. It’s a great book so far!

July 12, 2013 at 2:38 pmThank you sweetie, Many years ago I used to work for Cath Kidston and get a very large discount in her shops. Oh how I long for those days now! I think I would buy every single dress!
