Today I was a little stuck for blog post ideas, so I thought i’d do a quick fun post which I’ve seen lot’s of other bloggers do. So here’s what’s in my bag…
The bag itself is a vintage one that I got at a car boot sale last year for about £1. I don’t use this one very often but have been using it for the last few days. This is half the reason there’s not a lot more rubbish in it!
What’s inside?
Lila’s Dummy – In case she get’s sleepy while we’re out.
My Passport – Sadly I don’t need this because I’m an international jet setter, I just needed it for ID!
My Purse – I’ve had this Guess purse for years, I bought it in Florida when we went there on holiday four years ago and it’s still going strong.
My Out and About Camera – This is the Nikon Coolpix 9500 which I carry around most of the time, it’s great for taking family pictures and has an amazing zoom and video camera. Definitely easier to transport in a small bag than my Nikon D40.
Love Hearts – I try not to eat too many sweets, but these were left over from our cocktail making session so I slipped them into my bag incase I got hungry!
Lip Products – I’m a bit of a lip addict and I wear lot’s of different makes and colours. I always slip them into my handbag after I put them on and they end up accumulating. Here I have – Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist, Aptivita Lip Care, Maybelline Lipstick in Pleasure Me Red, Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss and a selection of Bourjois Colour Boost lip crayons. After taking these photographs I put them all away!
A Wispa Gold Wrapper – Best chocolate bar ever!
Ikea and Boots Receipts.
Oyster Card Jubilee Edition.
8p in change.
What do you keep in your hand bag?

February 18, 2014 at 2:30 pmLove your vintage bag & your contents, too! Your love hearts candies remind me of those wafer candies (I’m from the U.S., so it might be different here) that were Necco brand….I loved them growing up! Have you thought about putting vintage accessories in your vintage handbag, like say, a lace-edged handkerchief or a fancy compact or something?

February 19, 2014 at 5:58 pmThat’s a neat idea about Halloween candy – hadn’t thought of that. Do you have a lot of vintage handbags? (I thought I’d found vintage Prada once, in a 2nd-hand store, but it turned out to be a (good quality) imitation.
