All the spring cleaning I’ve done over the past couple of weeks has left me with a bit of a blank canvas in my bedroom. It’s the one room in our house that doesn’t really feel finished, and now everything has a home and it’s all tidy and organised I feel like giving it a little TLC.
I love using my bedroom not only as a place to sleep but also somewhere to relax, read a book, write a blog post and get ready every day. At the moment it’s painted pink and blue and I love the idea of adding a few other colours to give it a bright spring feel.
I am absolutely in love with Asda’s pin-up bedding so I used this to get a little colour inspiration and came up with a little colourful wish list. I like the idea of mixing bright colours, with a tiny hint of vintage and lot’s of different textures to create a mismatched but perfectly coordinated space.

Oooh, I adore that mint pillow! I love pretty scallops on everything. I’m (hopefully!) moving to a new home soon and I just keep daydreaming of all the possibilities!

I LOVE that bedspread. If that match my room at all, I would so own it.

Love them all as well as the general colour palette at work here. I hope that that these sweet, beautiful, vintage-y pieces are all able to come your way this year, honey.

What a great spot on the Duvet cover. It doesn’t go with my bedroom but I don’t care, it’s being ordered, right now!

I was thinking of buying two, one for my bed and one to make a dress out of!

That is a fab idea! Look forward to seeing the result.
