Last year I visited the fantastic Debenhams SS15 press event in London. I’ve already shared my favourite pieces from the home collection, and now I’ve got a few things from their gorgeous collection of fashion and lingerie. There were so many pretty dresses on show, especially evening wear and I literally took hundreds of pictures so it was really hard to choose favourites.
One of the most stunning dresses was this amazing embellished evening dress with beautiful deco beading.
Pastel shades are going to be hugely popular this year and there were some really gorgeous feminine tones on show at Debenhams.
A lot of the evening wear is heavily embellished and pays homage to the finishes of the 1920s.
One of my favourite pieces was this gorgeous sequin wiggle dress.
I absolutely loved all the girlie pastel tones of the bags and shoes.
Bright colours also featured heavily. I fell for these chunky platforms which would look great with some of my 70s dresses.
Novelty prints and designs are everywhere at the moment. The Love shoes from Floozie and these Henry Holland bags are on my wishlist.
You can never go wrong with a trusty satchel and I love this butterfly print one from Manteray.
Lingerie and Swimwear:
This springs lingerie is soft and feminine. Again there are lots of pastel shades and well as feminine floral and plenty of silky satin.
This beautiful embroidered robe was one of my favourite things from the day.
The swimwear is bright and fun with lots of exotic tropical prints. I was also happy to see lots of high waisted bikini styles.
I really enjoyed looking through everything and I’ve definitely spotted lots of things I’d like for myself. I’ve bought a couple of things already including a 1960s style dress with I featured in my outfit post this weekend.
