If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you will have heard me mention the Mid Century Market many times. Since It launched a couple of years ago I’ve never missed one. The fair focusses on the 1950s and is one of the best fairs I’ve been to for picking up amazing vintage pieces from the era. The range of stall holders are superb and everything from clothing to menswear to retro homewares are included.
I always come away with a selection of hair flowers, jewellery and if the purse allows, a new dress or two. The event has a great selection of original vintage and reproduction, so there’s something for everyone. The fair also has a tea room and live music throughout the day and if you need a little pamper a vintage hairdresser and barber are on hand to help you look the part.
I’m so glad that after a few months away, the market is back in London this Sunday, so I can get my mid-century fix and hopefully a few new vintage treasures! If you’re in London this weekend this really is a must visit.
