I love it when a vintage event happens near me. Although there are great events all over the country, being able to pop to one for a couple of hours with the kids is always a bonus. I’ve been meaning to go to the Vintage Alldayer at Kingsmeadow Football Ground the last few times it’s been on and have never got round to it, so it was great to finally pop along a couple of weeks ago and check it out.
The event featured an absolutely amazing selection of vintage traders, with lots of clothing accessories, records and homewares. I’m trying to save money at the moment so I couldn’t buy any of the lovely dresses I spotted, but I did get an egg slicer to add to my Tala collection! You can see it in the picture above.
We had a lovely slice of cake with tea served in gorgeous vintage china at the events tea room, while watching lots of talented couples taking to the dance floor for a jive.
As usual lots of people had brought along their fabulous classic cars to be admired. The girls love looking at them all. I didn’t take a huge number of pictures at the event, as I just wanted to enjoy some family time and have a good look at everything. I’d definitely recommend the event and next time I will definitely be going again.
It is actually impossible to get these two to both look at the camera at the same time these days! Lila is wearing her Lindy Bop kids dress which is her absolute favourite at the moment.
I’ve mentioned my current obsession with red gingham a lot this year. I wore yet more gingham to the event. This dress from Collectif has become my go-to dress for events at the moment as its so comfortable. I got it a while ago, but it’s currently in the sale. The shoes are my absolute favourite shoes at the moment, they are so comfortable and they look amazing with vintage dresses.
