When people joke about owning 6000 hair grips and only being able to find one, they aren’t kidding. If I look hard enough I’ve found them under the sofa cushions, at the bottom of drawers, in the washing machine (on 3 occasions breaking the washing machine), sometimes just lost in my hair only to fall out when least expected. These elusive little creatures are a law unto themselves and it’s about time we regained control of the lawless little accessories.
Sick of scrambling around in the darkest depths of your handbag, looking for a dusty bobby pin amongst the loose change and old receipts? I think I’ve found the solution! I was recently gifted a handy little holder which can be used as a keyring or clipped inside a bag.
This useful little set comes with the handy hair grip caddy, a carabiner (clippy thing), so you can attach it to pretty much anything and 25 gorgeous gold bobby pins, which I will definitely be using. I might even manage to not lose them if I remember to put them back in the caddy!
Not only is this little set super useful, it also looks amazing too. I love the pink and gold finish and the idea that something useful can look so lovely too.
This is definitely one of those things that I never thought I needed, but now I own it I absolutely love it. I’ve now got it attached to my keys and if I ever need to clip my hair back I know where I can find a grip!
This actually feels a little like winning at adulting and it’s one of lifes little fails that I have successfully conquered! Now I just need to master always having a pound coin for my trolley, remembering my reusable bags and writing things down in my calendar immediately (why isn’t there a tool for that?!)
This would make such a fun little Christmas present for a secret Santa or a friend who always loses their bobby pins (aka everyone with hair)
