Today I hit 800 sales on my shop! Me and Rob have a tradition of having a little celebration every 100 sales, so that’s a bit exciting! Thank you so much to everyone who supports my small business and everything I do, it means the world to me that I get to do something I love, even when everything else is a bit rubbish atm. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

AD | Isn't it lovely getting back outside? I'm always so busying a mum, running my business and just doing everyday things. But I always try to get outside and relax in nature to recharge my batteries, listen to the birds sing, breath the fresh air and enjoy gorgeous views. I've been a bit absent on here and on the blog over the last few weeks, as I've been working really hard on my vintage shop. Hi! It’s been a while so I thought I’d reintroduce myself. I'm Catherine, I'm 35 years old and mum to 9 and 15 year old girls, who keep me very very busy!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I've been writing my blog Vintage Frills since 2012 and selling vintage since about 2009. I run @vintagefrillsshop a little Etsy shop selling lots of gorgeous vintage things. I'm constantly looking out for gorgeous old things to fill my home, wardrobe and shop. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When life is a bit more normal, I love going on photo walks, visiting country houses and getting out of London to explore the countryside. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm at my happiest rummaging through piles of clothes at car boot sales and charity shops and I've missed doing that a lot this past year. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I currently have stupidly long hair because I was too lazy to get it cut for a long time and then lockdown happened, but I kinda like it on good days when it behaves! (currently sporting a very sad looking bun) I also managed to set fire to it a little while cooking on the hob the other day, so definitely time for a cut! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

One from a couple of weeks ago, during my short lived phase of making an effort during lockdown. Now the snows hit and home schooling continues, I'm back to comfy leggings every day! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is one of my favourite vintage dresses, gorgeous print, autumnal colours and biggest besets sleeves ever. Hoping to be able to wear it out somewhere special later in the year, when hopefully a little normality returns. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Ad my shop Celebrating hitting 700 hundred sales on the shop this weekend! 2020 was a long hard year in which everything went wrong for our family. It really was awful! But working on the shop really kept me going. Your orders mean more to us than you’ll ever know.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I love layering up my favourite summer dresses so I can wear them all year. This @hm William Morris dress has been one of my faves since I got it a few years ago. It’s super warm worn with a jumper underneath, some tights and my boots from @willsveganstore ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When I was little my grandparents had a little boo

When I was little my grandparents had a little bookshelf in their spare room, full of lovely old children’s books from when their children were small. I inherited them all and they're such a treasure to me. I've been enjoying looking through some of them this week, this is my favourite because all the pictures are so pretty!
