Todays dress of the day comes from my favourite place for fabulous vintage style dresses Love Ur Look. I already have this 50s style dress in another colour and love the fabric and pretty back detail. This dress is very summery but the sun is still shining and autumn is not quite with us yet!

The dress costs a very reasonable £58 and can be bought here

Having had a very busy few weeks of summer holidays, my daughter and I have have had to stay in for a few days. As always when we run out of things to do we bake like crazy!
Here’s a couple of our many recent creations!

Honey cupcakes with bee decorations

We also made these Tesco lemon cupcakes and added our own lemon decorations. These cakes are sooo yummy, I would definitely recommend them!

Apologies for the recent lack of posts, this is purely down to me breaking my laptop and waiting a very long time for a replacement. To make up for this Dress of the Day #7 will feature not one but 7 dresses.
Todays dresses are all from Miss Selfridge. I have chosen smart classic dresses with classic cuts which are perfect to stock upon as the weather gets colder.

Today’s very beautiful dress is from vintage reproduction specialists 20th Century Foxy. This classic 1950s style tea dress comes in a selection of fabrics, perfect for a little old school glamour. At £75 it is a bit of a treat but as with all tea dresses it won’t go out of style and could be worn year after year. This one is definitely going on my wish list.

The ‘Time for Tea’ fabric is my personal favourite and can be bought here

I also love the Olive Grove and Forget me Not designs.

Today’s stunning dress of the day is this gorgeous orange and grey print prom dress from River Island. I love bird print and this one reminds me of beautiful painted wallpaper. The asymmetric cut and generous use of fabric make this super flattering and wearable. Perfect for summer parties and weddings. This would look great with some orange wedges. The dress costs a reasonable £60 and can be bought here
