I popped to Wimbledon Car Boot Sale earlier and found some great vintage clothes, which I’ll save for another post. On my way out I spotted a pillowcase which matches the ones I currently have on my bed. I just had to pick it up, however on closer inspection I realised it was full of sewing stuff. The seller told me that to get the pillowcase I had to get the contents as well. But for £2 I was happy to take the lot.
I thought I’d do a quick post to show you some of the things that were inside…
I recently sold most of my vintage buttons, so its nice to get a few new ones to play with, and I love that lot’s of them are on their original cards. I’ll probably put some of it on eBay and the pillowcase will join the other ones on my bed.

February 5, 2014 at 11:16 pmI think it must be a pretty common design as I’ve now managed to get my hands on three. It’s such a pretty print isn’t it!

February 6, 2014 at 1:12 pmI have curtains in that print. They have become skirts dress etc. I love sorting my way through discarded sewing boxes and bags. What stories they could tell……

February 7, 2014 at 11:44 pmI love finding collections of things. There were also little instructions written down on scraps of paper. I’d love to find curtains in this print, I’d definitely turn them into a dress. xxx
