Book Review – Style Me Vintage Weddings

I’ve been looking forward to this lovely book arriving for ages. I adore the Style Me Vintage series and couldn’t wait to take a look at the latest installment. The books are great because the authors seem to be so carefully chosen as everyday experts in their field.

Annabel Beeford the lovely lady behind this delightful book is best known for her inspirational vintage wedding blog Love My Dress. The blog is hugely popular and has won awards on several occasions.

The book itself is simply beautiful, one of my favourite things about the Style Me Vintage series is that the books themselves are so pretty. They are just the right size to kept out on display.

The book is broken down into different sections for each decade, and within each section there are pictures of original weddings from the period, real modern-day weddings inspired by the past, details on the fashions of the period and tips on creating the look on your wedding day. The book is easy to follow and filled with inspiring photographs.

Everything you could need to know is covered including how to source the dress, as well as; the venue, cake, stationary, flowers, and hair and make-up. If you wanted to you could plan your whole wedding using this book alone.

I say this every time I review wedding books but I wish I could plan my wedding all over again and use some of the ideas from this book.

I’d recommend the book if you would like to plan a vintage themed wedding, but just don’t know where to start. There is so much information out there for brides and grooms that it can be hard to piece everything together. This guide will definitely help to push you in the right direction when it comes to tieing your look together.

The book would be a great gift for a friend or family member who is planning a wedding.

Thank you so much for this lovely feature Catherine – I’m genuinely thrilled you love the book, and am so grateful that you have taken the time to share your thoughts and images.
I’m so proud of the book – someone said to me recently ‘its such a beautiful product’ and I truly believe it is, but then I worked with an amazing team and picked them wisely 😉
    Huge thanks again 🙂
    With lots of love,
    Annabel xXx
