I’ve been to Ikea a few times lately, and I kept spotting these cute pineapple glasses. They remind me a lot of 1950s and 60 printed glasses, and although obviously they are no substitute for the real thing at £1 each I couldn’t resist them. They have a few other designs of printed glasses so well a worth a look.

I hope this doesn’t come accross as rude, but basically I am desperate to get hold of one of those pineapple glasses. My girlfried and I picked one up while living in Madrid and it made it all the way back to the UK, but subsequently got smashed by a clumsy houseguest. It had real sentimental value to us, and although it won’t be the same, I would love to surprise her with a replacement. Do let me know if you would be willing to sell one, I would naturally cover postage costs, and pay more than they cost from Ikea to get one back!
