Changing Seasons

December 3, 2015

As usual I’m a little late to the party. I’ve admired lots of other bloggers beautiful posts about the Autumn and never got round to sharing my own. But better late than never I say! Winter may be well and truly upon us now, but it feels like the beautiful colours of Autumn were still there only a couple of weeks ago.

A few weeks ago I popped to Wisley gardens in Surrey to take some pictures of some of their beautiful trees. The colours were simply beautiful and it was lovely to just have a walk and enjoy all the gorgeous scenery.

Wisley Statue
It had been a really rainy morning and I loved seeing the feet on this statue reflected in the puddle.

Wisley Building
Wisley is one of the most important gardens in the world and is owned by the Royal Horticultural Society. I love this building which I think contains offices.

I wish the trees stayed these gorgeous colours for longer. Autumn seems to go by so quickly and winter seems to go on forever!

I’ll have to go back and take some winter pictures there soon. Hopefully when theres a light sprinkling or frost or snow.

What is your favourite season? Do you love the summer sun or cosy winters wrapped up warm?

Oooohh me, too! Autumn is my favourite season and I passionately adore its hues, but they vanish quicker than temporary hair dye around these parts as well. In a way though, that just makes the few very brief weeks we’re treated to them each year all the more special and worth celebrating.
