A few weeks ago I was invited to the Bentall Centre in Kingston Surrey, to choose some of my favourite stocking fillers from the wide selection of shops. The shopping centre has loads of choice with many popular high street stores to peruse. I wanted to choose presents to suit lots of different tastes and budgets, so I didn’t just go for things I would choose for myself. They sent me back my edit and here’s what I chose…
Stocking fillers need to be quite small, so I was quite limited to size. For a big treat I love the Swarovski necklace, if you really want to get something indulgent for a loved one, jewellery is a great way to go. For kids I thought the 3D planets would be perfect as a fun yet educational addition to a stocking. I really love mugs and have loads of fun quirky ones myself. The initial ones from Oliver Bonas, add a slightly more personal touch to an otherwise simple gift. I chose the Little book of Hygge in WH Smith because it’s such a popular theme at the moment and makes a lovely winter gift. I love flavoured teas and T2 is the go to place for great quality and interesting flavours at the moment, The lemon Sorbet flavour is absolutely delicious. I’m a big fan of the cat range at Paperchase at the moment and I couldn’t resist adding this pretty phone case to the list. Lastly The Zara soaps are a perfect Christmas scented treat.
