Style Me Vintage Tea Parties – Book Party

November 22, 2012

A few weeks ago me and a friend attended the launch of the latest installment in the Style Me Vintage book series. I’m a big fan of the books on fashion, hair and make-up so I was really excited to get my hands on a copy. I’m going to review the book in a separate post, and today I’ll talk about the fabulous party.

The party was held at the author Lulu’s Gwynne’s vintage tearoom Betty Blythe in West London.  The venue was simply gorgeous with the most beautiful vintage china, exposed brick walls and even a vintage dressing up box!

Lulu opened Betty Blythe in 2008, it is a service based on old fashioned establishment, serving up charming afternoon tea and cake. The tearoom offers private parties for anything from children’s parties to hen nights to baby showers. So if your looking for a very vintage venue for a party then this place is perfect. The dressing up box downstairs is especially fun after a couple of glasses of bubbly.

Here’s some pictures from the day taken by Fay from Blog A Book Etc as I have lost my camera charger!

Some pictures of the gorgeous Betty Blythe behind the counter.

The Spread!

This was full of vintage dressing up items which we had a lot of fun with!

The gorgeous book.
