It’s Monday What are you Reading?

This is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. It’s all about sharing what we’ve been reading and what we plan to read over the next week.

I’ve not had a hugely succesful blogging or reading week this week. As always I’ve been really busy with the little ones and the house but I have loads to catch up on so hopefully this week will be a little more productive!

This week I finished reading The First Last Kiss by Ali Harris. This is an absolutely stunning book and it just has to be read. It tells the story of a relationship through flash backs and you slowly build a picture. It works to perfection and I enjoyed every page. There are many ups and downs and you will both laugh and cry. In fact I cried more over this book than any I have read previously, but it was worth it! The book comes out on the 17th so pre-order it here.

I have almost finished Persuasion by Jane Austen which I was re-reading this week.

This week I will be making a start on Laura’s Handmade Life by Amanda Addison, it’s about a woman who loses all her vintage clothes in a fire and has to start from scratch! I’m really looking forward to reading it and I’m hoping to include it in my vintage reading group which I will be posting about later in the week.

I’ve added two new books to my ‘to-read’ list they are A Vintage Affair by Isabel Wolff and Before I Met You by Lisa Jewell. These both look great I read a few Lisa Jewell books years ago and really enjoyed them and this one has quite a vintage theme so I’m sure this one will be perfect.
