My Favourite Pink Beauty Products

January 6, 2014

The weather has been so dreary recently, waking up for my first school run after the relaxation of the festive season was a shock to the system to say the least. Getting completely soaked in a torrential downpour made the first day back just that little bit harder. Therefor when the sun came out a couple of hours later and some much longed for daylight shone through the window I couldn’t help but think of the Spring and pretty colours.

My favourite colour is pink, I’m a proper girlie girl at heart and some of my favourite beauty products are pink. I feel all christmassed out now and that includes christmassy colours, so I’m going back to celebrating beautiful pink things even if the colour is slightly out of season.

Here are a few of my favourite pink things…

Cath Kidston Wild Rose Hand Cream – This hand cream is a lovely one to pop into your handbag and smells absolutely beautiful. I love the old-fashioned scent.

Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Grapefruit – This is a gorgeous bright pink that looks perfect on your toe nails, even if in the winter you only see them in the bath!

Barry M Limited Edition Glitter Polish from Superdrug – this is my favourite glitter polish ever, and since it’s a limited edition I’m definitely going to pick up more.

Soap and Glory Hand Food – I have so many tubes of hand food, and it’s one of the products I use every day. It’s great as an overnight treatment worn with cotton gloves.

Model’s Own Nail Polish in Sophie’s Pink – I love Model’s Own nail polishes and use them a lot for nail art, this colour is great for creating little roses.

Models Own Nail Polish in Strawberry Tart – this scented polish smells as adorable as it looks.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Nancy Lashes – I love all of The Vintage Cosmetic’s Companies lashes and these Nancy ones are super glamorous while still looking very natural. Perfect for vintage looks.

Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick in Pale Brandy – I have this lipstick in quite a few colours. It extremely moisturising and stays on for hours. This coral shade is one of my favourites as it looks great with almost any outfit. A timeless classic.

Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Dragon Fruit – Another adorable pink, this is so girlie that it wouldn’t look out of place on a Barbie.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch – I use this almost every day, it super softening and gives your lips a light natural pink tint.

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Extreme Plump in Pink Out Load – These tingly glosses have been a favourite of mine for years, I have many variations of the Sexy Mother Pucker range, but this simple gloss is a must have for natural looking full lips.

Accessorize Merged Baked Blusher in Quiver – I bought this one on a whim as I liked the packaging, but it is now my everyday blusher. It gives the cheeks a sweet girlie glow, I’ve used it loads and it doesn’t seem to have gone down at all so I think it may also be a never ending product!

Two of my favourite pink dresses from Lindy Bop and Love ur Look – Ok so it’s definitely too cold to be wearing these, but I’ve put them on my mannequins as they look really pretty and Brighten up the dull days.

Along Came Betty Pores For Thought Polish – This is an excellent face scrub which I use a couple of times a week.

Along Came Betty Clearly Perfect Skin Tone Corrector – This is a fantastic product to put on before your moisturiser. It smooths out your skin tone and makes putting make up over the top easy peasy.

Along Came Betty Pure Pores 15 Minute Detox Task – I LOVE this mask and use it all the time, it’s pretty strong stuff and is super tingly when you put it on but it definitely rids or skin of any blocked pores.

I love the whole Along Came Betty range including the make up which is all available at Tesco.

I hope you don’t think I’m crazy for featuring such pale colours in the winter but they make me cheerful! Now I’m off to paint my nails pink. xxx
