Despite getting married myself nearly 6 years ago, I’m still a total sucker for a good wedding blog, book or fair. I absolutely love weddings and if I could organise a wedding myself every year I would. If I could do it all again I would go for a very quirky twist on a vintage theme.
One wedding event that has really caught my eye is A Most Curious Wedding Fair, this is the go to place for brides to be who would like something a little more individual for their big day. It’s also a great place to meet independent sellers and makers for those perfect touches for your wedding.
The fair is held in two locations London and Norwich, two fantastic hubs for vintage and unique style. The very fact that the event is sponsored by Rock n Roll Bride one of my very favourite bloggers is a great endorsement for the quality of the event.
When the fair first started they really embraced the vintage theme, however as the event has grown over the last 5 years they have definitely spread their wings and you can find all sorts of fabulous fashion forward companies at the event. I love the ethos of the fair, which is all about having a wedding that reflects you and not necessarily following current wedding trends.
If you’ve just got engaged this would be a great event for getting lot’s of ideas and inspiration. You might just find the perfect vendors to put those weddings fantasies into the realms of reality. You can find a full list of exhibitors for both fairs here, but some that really stand out for me are Crown and Glory who make incredible floral and glittery headpieces, Lipstick and Curls who do the most fabulous vintage hair and make-up and Little Bear Cakery who make the most gorgeous and unique wedding cakes. There is also a great mix of stationary designers, food providers, florists and design companies, jewellers and planners as well as lot’s of gorgeous wedding fashion.
On the day you can expect to see fabulous fashion shows, as well as entertainment, styling activities, music and performance. So if you’re planning your wedding get yourself down to this fabulous wedding fair.

April 4, 2014 at 11:31 amOh my gosh, so am I!!! Though I rarely comment on them, I follow numerous wedding blogs and their respective Pinterest boards and can never get enough of seeing beautiful, creative, (and especially) vintage inspired wedding ideas (many of which, objectively, can be used for other kinds of events, too).
