In the run up to Christmas I want to share a few fantastic smaller companies with you, that would be perfect for Christmas gifts. I love shopping online as I’m not a big fan of crowded shops so I’m always looking for new online shops for pretty bits. I was recently sent these two beautiful floral decorations to review by Paper Whites. If you’ve been reading this blog a while you’ll have seen that I like fake flowers a lot and have them all over the house so these were absolutely perfect for me.
All Paper Whites products are designed and hand made in the UK. They are designed to look like garden flower arrangements and come in a variety of vintage inspired containers, from jars to jugs to retro tins. There are so many different designs and I loved looking through all the different types of flowers and vessels on offer. To compliment the pretty flowers there are also candle holders and little wooded accessories.
It’s so hard to find presents for people who have everything and I like these as a gift idea for people who are hard to buy for. It’s also something lovely that can be enjoyed all year.
Black Eyed Susan in Hanging Jar – White Rose in Mercury Votive
I was so pleased with the two I was sent, the quality was lovely and they look perfect alongside some of my vintage china on my dresser. I really liked that the containers look a little aged, as I love old things and they fit nicely with my other decorations. The flowers themselves are also really pretty, with a simple white rose in the smaller jar and a garden style posy in the larger one.
These would make the perfect christmas gift for someone who likes antique and shabby chic interiors and I think they’d look beautiful on an antique dressing table. There are also slightly more modern designs and some that would fit well with a more authentic vintage interior look. Prices vary but are around the £10-£25 mark, so are really affordable.
I’m, going to be using these in lots of my blog photographs from now on as I think they are absolutely beautiful! These are a few of my other favourites from the Paper Whites website that I have my eye on…
Dahlia in Vintage Tin – Rose Gypsophila in Zinc Heart Glass
Rose and Peony in Marmelade Jar – Hydrangea and Lavender in Bottle
