I love cute old things! I love seeking them out, displaying them, enjoying them and sharing them on here. Thats one of the reasons I started selling vintage for a living. May marked 10 years since I started my first vintage business and since then I’ve done so many exciting things. From selling at vintage fairs, having my own market stall, starting a blog to putting on my own events. Now I solely focus on the blog and my Etsy shop and I absolutely love putting my time into both.
This month I’ve been working really hard on the shop and everyday I’ve added lots of delightful new bits and pieces including jewellery, hair accessories and other little vintage treasures. Today I thought I’d share some new additions to the shop and a few things that will be coming soon. One of the things I use my vintage pieces for is as props for photos and flat lays and I know a lot of my customers do too, so I’ve taken that into account with the stock I’ve chosen and had lots of fun putting these pics together.
I have lots of lovely vintage stamps, that I’ll be putting into bundles on the shop. They’re perfect for pictures, scrapbooks and craft projects or just to look though and enjoy. I’ve also been listing a few books, magazines and adorable vintage paper items which not only look lovely, but are fascinating to look through too. As well as lots of jewellery I have also listed lots of buttons and haberdashery pieces too.
I absolutely love cute vintage plastic jewellery and as well as having absolutely loads in my own collection, I also have hundreds of gorgeous pieces available in the shop. In May I added a huge selection of vintage hair clips to the shop. Hair clips are everywhere at the moment and I love wearing them myself to put a vintage spin on a modern trend.
I have lots of unused vintage pieces that still have their amazing vintage packaging on them. I like the idea that the packaging is every bit as lovely as the piece itself and they make fabulous display pieces. I’ve already sold out of all the pink clips, but have linked to other colours below.
I have such an obsession with all the gorgeous graphics on vintage items and that is definitely reflected in the things I sell in my shop. I’m always hunting out sewing patterns, accessories and haberdashery that just needs to be put on display somewhere.
This is just a small fraction of the new stock I have available. Check out the Etsy shop for lots more gorgeous pieces and be sure to keep checking back, as I add new listings several times a week. If you have any requests be sure to let me know and I’ll keep a look out for you.
