Floral cotton tea dresses are such a useful garment for the summer months. They can be dressed up or down and can be worn for everyday life or for more special occasions. I love classic 80s and 90s Laura Ashley dresses for this time of year. Their prints are classic, yet timeless and they’re such good quality, that despite being several decades old they still have a lifetime left of wear in them. Today I’m sharing 4 floral Laura Ashley dresses from the shop that I love for summer styling.
I originally bought this one for myself, but unfortunately she wasn’t quite the right size for me, so I’ve passed her on to the shop for someone else to enjoy!
This lovely dress has that classic Laura Ashley cut, which pays homage to the Victorian dresses that Laura Ashley loved so much and also that gorgeous 1950s fit and flare style too.
I love all the extra details on this dress, such as the piping on the V waist and the pretty matching covered buttons. The little puff leaves are so lovely too.
This one is a Laura Ashley 16 and would be best for a modern size 12-14.

I really love this shape on Laura Ashley dresses, I’ve had this dress in a few different colours on the shop. It has all those little extra details that you’d expect from a Laura dress.
The print of this one is absolutely beautiful. All the different shades of turquoise and blue, are so pretty and this one really stands out.
This dress is a Laura Ashley size 12, but fits more like a modern size 10.

I love this darker blue dress, because it would be so easy to style year round. It’s absolutely perfect for summer though. I could see this one being worn for a lovely day outdoors or dressed up as a wedding guest outfit.
The dress is made from a beautiful soft cotton with a lovely elegant fit and a beautiful floral print.
This one is a modern size 8-10.
