It’s Monday What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday What are you Reading is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. It’s a chance to share the books you’ve read in the last week and plan your reading week ahead.

This week I finished reading The Vintage Teacup Club and The Secret Lives of Dresses by Erin McKean Both books had a fabulous vintage theme and I really enjoyed them. they definitely put me in a vintage mood.

I have now started reading The First Last Kiss by Ali Harris. I loved her first book Miracle on Regent Street and so far I’m really enjoying this one. I got this as a review copy and it’s not available for a couple of weeks but you can pre-order it from Amazon here.

I’ve added a few things to my to be read list this week. I ordered my daughter some new books from The Book People for Christmas and I also got myself a collection of books by 1950s author Barbara Pym so as soon as I’ve cleared the list a little I’m going to work my way through these.

On the subject of vintage themed books a friend from another blog and I are planning on doing a vintage book challenge for 2013. The idea is to read lot’s of lovely novels which centre around vintage clothes or were written mid-century. I’m going to set up a Goodreads group in the new year. If anyone would like to join in please comment below as I’d love to know if it’s a good idea!

I didn’t get any reviews written last week with all the craziness of christmas but I’m hoping to get a couple done this week.
