Happy New Year! I hope everyone saw in the new year having lot’s of fun with loved ones.
I’m not big on new years resolutions, so this year I’m making a dressolution. I’m going to try and buy my clothes more ethically. Obviously I love vintage clothes, but I’m going to try and buy more clothes from small businesses, I’m also going to buy fewer things and spend a little more on buying quality items. No more high street for me!
I’m going top find this hard as I love buying new dresses and I find it really hard to leave a shop without buying something pretty. It is really important to me to support smaller businesses and to think about the planet so I’m going to give it a go!
I love this tatoo print jersey dress from Kate Garey from Not on the High Street. It’s really cute and casual and I love the vintage tattoo design. I think it would look great with thick black tights and soe boots. It’s also reduced from £25 to £10 so it’s an absolute bargain.
One of the things I really like about Not on the High Street is the information they give you about the small business things come from, you can find out more about Kate Garey and her designs here.
I’m really looking forward to the year ahead and I have lot’s of plans for the blog. Thank you to everyone who read, followed and commented last year, it’s really inspired me to keep at it!
