Yesterday Fay and I went to The Vitality Show at Earls Court in London as guests of the lovely Green People. The show is a great mix of fitness, food, beauty and lifestyle. I was especially interested in the beauty section which was full of some really fabulous brands. We both picked up a great mix of freebies and a few lovely purchases. I’m going to give a few of these brands and products their own posts and reviews but here’s a little round-up of some of the things that came home on a very packed tube with me!
I got these lovely healthy snacks* from The Food Doctor. I’m loving natural healthy foods at the moment as I’m trying to lose weight and I’ve been going to the gym a lot lately so I cant wait to give these a try.
I bought some dried pineapple from the Urban Fruit stand, I tried all their samples and they were all delicious. I got these to share with the kids as they both love pineapple too. I also got Vita coconut water with passionfruit*, 9 Bar Peanut*, and some Tingz* sweets to try
The Green People gave us each a lovely goody bag* packed with samples, which I can’t wait to try. I’m a big fan of their baby products so I picked Lila up an Organic Baby Wash and Shampoo.
I love the Along Came Betty bath and body range at Tesco. It’s every bit as lovely as other retro styled brands such as Soap and Glory. I was delighted to discover that they are launching a range of make-up. I picked up WOW! Lashes Super Volume Mascara and BR-WOW! brow kit. I also got Pores for Thought Polish de-stress face scrub and One Pot of Polish salt, sugar and apricot scrub. I’m going to review these alongside some of the other Along Came Betty products I already have.
I got an Essential Care Creamy Coconut Cleanser* from The Souk Souk stand. Souk Souk is a beauty box with a difference all the products you get in each months box organic, natural and chemical-free. You also get a magazine with the box every month. I really love the idea of this as I love using natural products.
I bought these Amy Childs Sleep Rollers, I’ve wanted some of these for a while and I’ve great things about her range. The girls at the stall were so helpful and showed me how to put them in and I was impressed that they stayed in my VERY long thick hair. I met Amy who was really sweet and her mum who showed me Amy’s new perfume which is very nice indeed. I can’t wait to try out the sleep rollers and will have a review up as soon as possible.
The Vitality Show is running until this Sunday at Earls Court and is a great day out. Why not treat yourself to a ticket to the Neal’s Yard Day Spa while your there and get really pampered.
