A few months ago I wrote about Lila’s ice cream themed bedroom makeover. Since then I’ve added a few bits and bobs and once we’ve given her room a good tidy and made it look a bit more photo ready, I’ll be sharing an updated bedroom tour on here. In the mean time I thought I’d show you a few of the new bits I’ve picked up for her room recently.
First up I got a mug from the ice cream range at Cath Kidston, I waited until this went into the sale. I’m just going to pop it on her display shelf. Maybe eventually when she has a desk she can use it as a pen pot.
I also couldn’t resist this donut mug, when I saw it reduced to £2 in my local Asda. Although it’s not an actual ice cream, I think it goes really well with the ice cream theme and her sprinkle wall.
Another donut themed purchase, was this duvet set. This was reduced to £8 in the Primark sale and I think it’ll look absolutely lovely on her bed. It’s also double sided, so we can alternate the patterns.
Also from Primark I got this sweet little framed print. I love the message and it’s absolutely perfect for Lila. Strong females, friendships and kindness are her favourite things and this sentiment is just so her!
I’m always looking for quirky things for the girl’s rooms in TK Maxx, so I was delighted when I finally found an ice cream themed plaque in store. I’m not sure where this is going to go yet. She likes playing ice cream shops with there toy kitchen, so I might hang it top next to that.
I picked up some sprinkle bunting and some paper ice creams in Pound World a couple of months ago. I am so sad that they have since gone into administration, I always found such nice things in there!
Once I’ve had a chance to get her room sorted and displayed all these lovely new things, I pop up another post so you can see them all. If you’ve seen anything nice and ice creamy anywhere that you think I’ll like, please let me know!
