I’m a busy mum. I’m always juggling housework, laundry, tidying, the blog, my vintage business, my marriage, time with my kids, time with my friends, the list goes on and on. Just like lots and lots of other people, life can be a bit non stop. I’m pretty good at organising myself and not too bad at keeping on top of things, but for me it’s time to take a little step back. I’m taking next week off working and doing anything social to concentrate on a few simple tasks.
My plan is to go to the gym or for a run every morning after the school run, come home and Konmari the hell out of my house. I’m going to eat healthy food all week and be kind to myself. Simple as that and I’m hoping to come out the other side feeling better in myself and with a very tidy organised house and feeling ready and refreshed.
I always do a little bit of everything everyday and I’m always juggling and rushing. Although I’m really good at this everyone needs a break! So the idea is to just focus on a few things for one week, that will make a really big difference. I can’t wait!
I’ve planned ahead and have scheduled blog posts for the week, scheduled my Instagram and left everything good to go without me. So now I’m ready to just focus on the week ahead and get shit done! I will have my phone on hand to take pics as I go and will probably do a blog post at the end of the week to let you know how I get on.
