Looking at my wardrobe there seem to be a lot of pretty summer dresses, and it’s definitely time to think about packing them away for a few months and putting some Autumn and Winter bits in their place. There are quite a few nice things I’ve spotted that I’d like to save my pennies for. Here are four of my very favourite dresses for Autumn…
1. Going Out – I love this pretty coral coloured dress, it would be perfect with a cardi for a night out with friends. – Tesco – £20
2. Work and Formal Occasions – This gorgeous 1940s style dress would be perfect for a smart every day look – Vivienne of Holloway – £69
3. Play – I love this cute bird print dress and would wear this for days out with the kids – Cath Kidston £65
4. Every Day – I would wear this without the petticoat as an everyday dress, Dressed down with ballet flats and a cardi this dress is very easy to wear. – £29.99 Lindy Bop
Have you started planning your autumn wardrobes yet or are you still hanging on to summer?

September 3, 2013 at 7:46 amThese are all good choices – high backs, so you can easily layer knitwear over them despite them being sleeveless and they’ll be warm enough for Autumn days. I haven’t really started thinking about Autumn fashion yet, which is quite unlike me as it’s my favourite fashion season and I normally go a bit giddy and buy lots. But lots going on in my life right now that’s occupying my thoughts instead. I will have a sort out in a month or so and try and plug some ‘gaps’. I could do with some more mid-heel ankle boots as a starter.

September 9, 2013 at 9:08 amI’m always on the lookout for new boots too. At least with Autumn you can adapt summer outfits with a few more layers.
I hope your ok! xxx

September 8, 2013 at 8:59 amMy stars, are these wonderfully lovely choices! If it wasn’t for our road trip this week, which I’ve been trying so, so hard to save up a little bit of pocket money for, I would be super tempted by these as well, especially the timelessly pretty 1940s style dress from VOH (perhaps it has a future on my Christmas wish list? :)).

September 9, 2013 at 9:09 amI’ve wanted the VOH 40s dress since last year. They are so classic and pretty. I can’t really afford one at the moment but it’s staying permanently on my wish list!
I do hope your enjoying your road trip. xxx
