A couple of weeks ago I visited Tent London a design show in London. I’ve aways been an interior design geek, in fact when I was a teenager it’s what I wanted to do when I grew up! For someone who loves design and interiors this show is like a little piece of heaven! It’s great seeing so many talented independent designers alongside larger companies showing their innovative designs and ideas. I chose a few of my highlights from the share with you…
This amazing futon features a print designed by Baines and Fricker and is made by The Futon Company. I loved this as it would go really well with my cowboy print wallpaper. It’s made from oak and is generally just awesome! Unfortunately Jake the westie doesn’t come with it, he also works for the Futon Company.
Also from the Futon Company these side tables designed by John Weaver were absolutely beautiful and would look amazing in a mid-century themed home. These were one of my favourite things in the show. If my budget stretched that far I’d have the pink and the blue in my bedroom.
The bar at the event was made from giant loo roll tubes, how cool is that?
If like me, you love a good print then you’ll love all the designs from B Goods. I can’t decide which I love more the textiles or tableware.
How amazing is this print featuring doors and pets. I would love to incorporate the wallpaper somewhere in my house. If not the range of cushions and lamps in the same design would do just fine. These are designed by Ottoline who have an absolutely amazing range.
By now you may have realised that I’m drawn to a good print! I love all the designs by Jess and Jules and I this print looks amazing on this retro sideboard.
This beautiful sofa, is the furniture version of a couture dress! Look at those amazing details and the beautiful colour! Absolute perfection. This is from interior design firm Alghalia Interiors.
For a touch of luxury I think this beautiful wallpaper is absolutely gorgeous. One day when I have by own Georgian mansion I will decorate the large rooms with something like this. I like the classic feel while still being very modern. I must have indulged a little too much in the free beer by this point, because I forgot to make a note of who designed this. Oops.
Another thing I spotted for my future mansion was this ethereal wallpaper design from Elli Popp, their website is absolutely beautiful and all the images conjure up images of my dream home!
I really love the combination of mustard and grey, so I was instantly drawn to these throw blankets from Lupuan Kankurit.
I was already quite familiar with the beautiful plates and tea-sets from Melody Rose as I followed them on Twitter ages ago. Their designs add something really cool to classic tableware. I especially love the skulls.
This kitchen is both beautiful and functional I love the mid-century style shelving and the copper sink is amazing.
We absolutely loved this wooden pall panelling that contains hidden storage! This is from Dome.
The dark richness of these wallpapers and textiles from Witch and Watchman blew me away. I love the lifelike animals too, another one for the dream home I think.
Lastly, I couldn’t help but love these tattoo lights from Tatt Light, especially the swallows. There are lots of different designs on their website.
Find out more about the show and find a full list of exhibitors on the Tent London Website.
What is your favourite thing from the ones I’ve included?

October 9, 2015 at 10:11 pmI’m a huge interior design fan, too. In fact, hand on my heart, the topic that was my second choice (after vintage, I mean), to launch a blog about back when I did so in 2009 was interior design. As you know, I opted for vintage though, as it felt extra right to me at the time. 🙂
