I’ve always enjoyed making things and being arty, but being a busy mum struggle finding time to make things. Recently I’ve really been enjoying coming up with really quick and simple Christmas DIYs, especially while I was writing my ebook. I recently picked up some jewel stickers in Wilko and thought they’d look lovely on some simple home-made Christmas cards.
To make these, you will need: blank cards and envelopes, a fine marker pen, a ruler, jewel and pearl stickers.
Step One: Draw a few vertical lines at the top of your cards.
Step Two: Stick the jewel and pearl stickers in different patterns, to make them look like pretty baubles.
Different cards can follow different colour schemes. I particularly liked this blue one.
I love how quick and easy these are to make. If you wanted to add a message you could use brush lettering, rubber stamps or stickers to write Merry Christmas, although I quite liked keeping mine simple.
I also think these would look great as little gifts tags. I’m looking forward to experimenting a bit more and will definitely be picking up more of these stickers and cards from Wilko.
