Last weekend my favourite vintage event returned to London. The Classic Car Boot Sale is the perfect mix of vintage shopping, classic cars and street food. The first two dates last year and earlier this year were both held on the South Bank in London and this time it was at a new venue. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. I don’t know if it was the drizzly weather or that the venue didn’t work as well, but I didn’t enjoy the event as much as the previous two. It was a bigger venue and everything was a little more spacious, but it just felt like a normal car boot sale with better stock, rather than a big vintage themed event. Stratford is also a lot more out-of-the-way and I think the south Bank just worked a lot better.
I did still really enjoy my day though and took lot’s of pictures. Apologies for a very picture heavy post, but I wanted to share lot’s of the gorgeous vintage bits I spotted with you…
What I wore…
By this point I was damp and windswept, by the horrible weather I also had a really bad cold so I’m definitely not looking my best! I absolutely love my dress though. I got it from Heyday last year and it’s been sitting in my wardrobe waiting to be worn for ages.
The dress is currently on sale with a couple of sizes left here.
