A few days ago I visited the Lindy Bop website, my plan was to buy the beautiful Lexi rose print dress. However after a little browsing I spotted this absolutely amazing Kelly novelty print dress, with a pineapple and parrot print and I just couldn’t resist it. Don’t worry Lexi I’ll be back for you soon, but for now I can’t get enough of this gorgeous dress.
At £34.99 the dress is another absolute bargain from Lindy Bop and I’m absolutely delighted with everything about it. The fit is amazing, I went for my usual size 14 and it fits perfectly. The fabric is a heavy cotton with a slight stretch and I feel absolutely wonderful wearing it. It goes in at the waist and flares out over my tummy which i find really flattering. I love the little cut out detail and the pleating on the skirt near the bow.
The quality of the dress is absolutely fantastic for the price. The fabric is really lovely and I always find the slightly heavier fabrics that Lindy Bop use in a lot of their dresses make them hang really well.
The dress fastens with a zip up the back and the bodice is lined. The print is really lovely and perfect for the summer. I wore it for a little trip to Richmond Park and felt really comfortable running around after Lila.
If you’re looking for a fun novelty print dress for the summer with our spending too much money, then this dress is absolutely perfect.
The dress goes so well with my vintage Enid Collins basket bag, I feel like they were made to be worn together. To accessorise the outfit I wore an original vintage chiffon headscarf, along with a selection of new and vintage bangles as well as my heart shaped sunglasses with I bought from Tiger last summer.
Outfit Details:
Kelly Dress – £34.99 – Lindy Bop
Headscarf – Vintage charity shop buy
Sunglasses – Tiger
Bamboo Bangles – Bow and Crossbones
Plastic Bangles – Vintage
Handbag – Vintage Enid Collins via Ebay

August 6, 2015 at 8:41 amI absolutely love your dress! The prints are all about summer – colorful parrots, flowers, pineapples and yet it did not overpower the entire dress itself. It was reasonably priced too!
